Business Development Representative (BDR)

Description

We’re seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) with a hunter’s mindset and excellent communication skills to play a critical role in generating new business opportunities.

As a BDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, responsible for identifying prospects, understanding their needs, and setting the stage for successful partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify potential customers through outbound prospecting efforts, including cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand customer challenges, needs, and goals.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Stay up to date on Bright Data’s solutions, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with marketing to follow up on inbound leads and nurture prospects.
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance metrics, including lead generation and meeting quotas.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a BDR role or lead generation role.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms.
  • Technical orientation with the ability to learn and articulate complex technical solutions effectively.
  • Fluent English is mandatory. Additional languages is an advantage. 
  • Familiarity with the data industry, web scraping, or data-driven solutions is a big advantage.
